I just hope and pray that....

1) You don't have to spend a load of time driving crap like superminis or family hatchbacks before you can get to the decent cars (I mean, seriously people, who the heck buys these games to drive a Toyota Yaris?); and

2) That when you think you are coasting along really slowly, then look at the speedo, you find that you are actually doing 120mph.

1)since there will be only something like 50 cars there is no much room left for k-cars, hopefully. there are two daihatsu and a suzuki so far. driving the daihatsu with in-car view is quite boring in the demo...

2)hehe, you'll get that if you use in-car view on stock cars... bumper view is much more faster but in-car is pretty cool and in-car back view is really cool. Cliché Online 17:22, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

correction the GT-R's in-car view is fast! because it is a 3.8L 480ps supercar (TGS 2007 specs, as seen in the GT-TV video) and the BMW and co are "only" around 308ps. about hatchbacks these insane guys at subaru have converted my beloved subaru into an ugly hatchback... the post-GC8 were already ugly now it's even worst. Gran tuismo 5 asia version

i've asked a sony hong kong guy about the GT5P asian version which will be released prior to the japanese version about the languages, but the guy answered he didn't knew yet if english language would be included. i'll ask him again later this week. let's pray it's not chinese only... Europe release date.

This just cropped up on the boards.playstation.com GT forum :-

Translates as : "Wednesday 23 January 2008 - it had been known for a while that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue very probable in March would appear. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have, however, today fixed a specific date for the newest Gran Turismo. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue will be on the store shelves, 28 March 2008, in Europe."

If this is true, then they just barely got it under the wire for March.

So far, this has not been confirmed on SCEE's Prologue site :

"Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is on the home straight and soon to arrive on PLAYSTATION 3. With stunningly realistic HD graphics, online races and the most accurate physics yet seen in a racing simulator, there’s never been anything quite like it. Gran Turismo on PS3™: it’s the drive of your dreams. And it’s almost here…"

Euro (UK) Release Date Update

For those that live in the U.K region. Your version won't be here til 2009. Which was confirmed by GAME and PS3 QJ. Zeta26 07::53, 24 February 2008 (UTC).

Please check your game titles. The date you provided is for the FULL version of the game, not the Prologue version which this article is about. The Prologue version is released on 28th March 2008 according to Amazon. Chappy^T_C 19:16, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
