is too general a title to be used except as a disambiguation page. If you've written a string sextet Op.1, the page about it should be located at @ String Sextet, Op. 1 (Waterhouse) or similar, just as Symphony No. 1 is a page about symphonies no.1 in general, not that of the first person who happens to get "dibs" on the page title... Well, they should not be doing that, but. Reinhold Glière's String Sextet No.1, Op.1 (first of three), for one. I think Glière is a well-enough known composer, at least on the basis of the Red Poppy ballet and Ilya Murometz symphony. As requested by the arbitration committee, I disclose that Graham Waterhouse has been a personal friend of mine for decades. I filled a red link when I wrote his biography in 2009, as my first article on Wikipedia (which was deleted within minutes). I try to be as neutral towards his works as those of others (Bach, Reger, Boulez) and base articles on reliable external sources. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:48, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
