"a depends-on partial ordering" … "DAG" edit

How does "a depends-on partial ordering" that can lead to an actual build plan not imply a DAG?!?

Agreed. Just removing the implication of a distinction since I am the third person that found this annoying. :)

Why is it so slow? edit

Does anyone know why this thing needs 2 hours to build a Hello World project on a freshly installed $1000 spaceship PC? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.51.72.185 (talk) 20:12, 18 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is not useable as a standalone article edit

Except for the intro paragraph it can only be used as an extension to Ant or Maven article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.24.148.197 (talk) 20:18, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Better explanations would be helpful -- as is, this article isn't usable as a stand alone artcile edit

In section "Example Java project" output of a command is shown but no explanation is given what the meaning of the output is. Then it is claimed "For this simple case, the build task depends upon the outputs of the check and assemble tasks." but without anything in the referred output showing anything different for the lines "check" or "assemble" so it is hard to follow the claim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.212.207.4 (talk) 08:53, 20 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
