Merge proposal

edit

I'm proposing merging various articles, see discussion at Talk:Grade I listed buildings in North Yorkshire#Merge proposal. Warofdreams talk 21:37, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fine by me, but a single list may be a bit unwieldy; perhaps separate either geographically, or by type (religious and non-religious buildings?). A geographical separation would be the Vale of York (A1(M) corridor), with Craven, Harrogate and Richmondshire on one side, and Hambleton, Ryedale, Scarborough and Selby on the other. But, really, that's up to you. The joy of all things (talk) 18:30, 4 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for fixing the links to this discussion. I've decided to go for a religious/secular split, hopefully that will work well. Warofdreams talk 23:48, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Warofdreams Happy days! Good luck. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 18:19, 6 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Warofdreams I think you may have to rethink this one as the merged page is in the "Pages where post-expand include size is exceeded" category and does not display properly. Keith D (talk) 17:26, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Keith D thanks for the heads up, I think best to complete the plan by merging in Selby and then weigh up the best option for splitting. Warofdreams talk 17:33, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Warofdreams I think the problem is {{NHLE}} template, this got changed to a wrapper type template so it could use all the cite parameters, that probably doubles the expand size. I have suggested this extra layer be removed in the past but got no where. Keith D (talk) 17:39, 10 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
