Chemie Grünenthal of Stolberg-am-Rhein → Grünenthal GmbH — Chemie Grünenthal of Stolberg-am-Rhein is the old name of this company. The current and correct name is Grünenthal GmbH Antwerpes (talk) 14:31, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- A first step would be to mention the new name in the lead section, in bold as article title, whilst keeping a mention of the previous name as well, also bolded.
- Seeing as the target is blank and de:Grünenthal GmbH carries the name without issue I don't see why you shouldn't move it yourself. WP:BOLD

Thank You for Your answer! I´m sorry, but I can´t move it myself, because i´m not an autoconfirmed user. Is there the possibility, that You move it for me? That would be very kind of You. Thanks in advanced! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Antwerpes (talk • contribs) 13:44, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

"The firm was a branch of ...": which corporation ?
edit"The firm was a branch of a soaps, toiletries, and cosmetics business which was formed a short time after World War II." is written in the introduction . What was the NAME of the corporation Grünenthal was a branch of ? Trente7cinq (talk) 06:32, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
Complete revision of the article; new facts, references and format
editHi, I overwrote much of the article, because it wasn't particularly accurate and much facts missed in it. If you find some grammatical failures, please correct them. Furthermore, there was no mention of the current situation of the business and the payment to the Foundation. Please do not overload the article with details, which relate to other articles, such as Thaladomide! This one has only to inform about Grünenthal and although the Contargan scandal has to be mentioned it's not the only historical important part. And please do visit the German article Contergan scandal where the whole topic is discribed very well (very useful for Thaladomide). --111Alleskoenner (talk) 19:58, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Physicians commiting crimes in Nazi concentration camps working for Grünenthal after WW II

Appears to be untrue
edit"One reason for the initially unobserved side effects of the drug and the subsequent approval in Germany was that at that time drugs did not have to be tested for teratogenic effects."
Per reuters, this is untrue, and it appears to be sourced to grunenthal itself, in a broken link. The vfa link makes similar claims, for what it's worth.192.249.47.186 (talk) 16:13, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
Separately, under "Further drug development" article says that "In 2018, Grünenthal acquired the pain-related brands Nexium...", how exactly is stomach acid neutralizer painkiller and according to whom? Sorry my bad editing skills.. --80.221.248.37 (talk) 21:21, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
