Pavelić? edit

Yeah, I know there isn't evidence in the text, but the whole sentence does not make sense. Pavelić was in no condition to oppose Mussolini by himself. Obviously he was in control of a relatively insignificant state, but also one that at the time had nothing like an army, and was a new state with zero influence. Not only was Pavelić's movement supported, housed, and financed by Mussolini in the inter-war period, but he was actually in control of the NDH solely due to Mussolini's influence on Hitler. In short, if someone checks Mussolini's little fantasies, it can only be the Big Guy ;) --DIREKTOR (TALK) 22:39, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality edit

In my opinion, though I could be wrong, the article is written in apologetic view in regard to Italian imperialist ambitions towards Dalmatia. For example, Venice did not have a continuous rule over Dalmatia since 9th century until 1797 as first sentnce of second paragraph seem to suggest. Venice only had continuous rule over Dalmatia since 1409 as result of feudal strifes inside Kingdom of Hungary, when Ladislaus of Naples sold his rights to Venice. Before that, Dalmatia frequently changed hands. For example, after signing Treaty of Zadar Venice gave up of all its rights on Dalmatia in favour of Hungary.

Also, the dynamic of relations in the interwar period between Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes that mentioned Treaty of Rapallo and Italy sheltering Ustaše was just removed despite being well sourced to Jozo Tomasevich. Franjo Tahy (talk) 11:06, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
