State Senate edit

The state Senate terms are not staggered so that half of the Senate is elected every two years. Rather, every Senate seat is up for re-election every four years, coinciding with presidential election years (and thus two years after statewide officers are elected). In 2024, for example, all 40 Senate seats and all 125 House seats are up for election. 2600:1700:55D0:3570:8030:8A06:6264:7DE1 (talk) 10:56, 10 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
