Expanding this article
editThere are two main problems with the article, as I currently see it.
- First, the article is focused on trivial terminology distinctions ("Trustees" v. "Governors" v. "Regents"), and not on what the duties of these boards are.
- Second, we have a quasi-list of boards of prominent universities, but it's very incomplete. (Wikipedia's coverage as a whole is incomplete).
To address the second one, I'm planning to expand the new "By state" section. I'm not sure if that will get too large or if we want 50 sub-sections.
Hopefully once the lists of individual boards are moved out of the "Board names" section, the remaining content on their responsibilities can be expanded. power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:50, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
