Racism?

Did that seriously happen? Would it have been less racist to say "Drink Milk... unless you're Black"? This is just one of those occassions where I am amazed/shocked by information I find here. I would now expect to hear about the existence of a photo of Courtney Love holding a smoking shotgun above the graphic "GOT MILK?" Gorman 05:55, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm a normal guy, but wouldn't a less surprising image be better? Aiddat 00:16, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Milk Moustache

Wasn't this part of the milk campaign modelled after the Belgian milk campaign?

The moustache is what I'm surprised of. In Europe, or at least in my country, the moustache would more likely be from BUTTERmilk, not ordinary milk. 85.217.47.47 (talk) 00:27, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Cow and Chicken / Cartoon Network parody

I remember seeing a Cow and Chicken parody of the Got Milk? Campaigns on Cartoon Network several years back.

Chicken needed milk for something, and then it showed Cow's udders and used the tagline "Got Cow?". Does anyone else remember this reference? -- WillMcC 20:31, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

I think I've seen that, but it's been several years since I've seen any Cow n' Chicken -- Powerchicken (talk) 00:52, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Controversy

The slogan can also be criticized for encouraging poor grammar, similar to the controversy over the Apple Computer slogan "Think different".

What similar controversy? There's nothing about it on the "Think different" page. --62.240.7.16 11:53, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

And then there was Winston's infamous "...LIKE a cigarette should" :)

¿Toma leche? in Spanish corresponds to "Do you DRINK milk?", since the Spanish equivalent of "Got milk?" has the unfortunate connotation "Are you lactating?" [1]
