- Oppose. There is only one topic using the title Gordy on WP, not a "number of uses". Except for one redirect, everything else on the dab page is a partial personal name. Station1 (talk) 04:34, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Support Gordy → Gordy (film) and Gordy (disambiguation) → Gordy. There are two articles using Gordy as indicated on the dab page and all of the various people listed. Since there is no primary use, clearly the film should be disambiguated. Vegaswikian (talk) 00:54, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose per Station1; besides the film, the only topic listed here known as just "Gordy" is a redirect to a character list that provides virtually no information about the character. – The film was not particularly successful and is not the primary topic. When I type "Gordy" or "Gordie", this isn't what I expect to see. Berry Gordy or Gordie Howe, for example are much better known in many circles. Clarityfiend (talk) 11:32, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Gordie already redirects to the dab page, so that's a red herring. The success of the film itself is irrelevant, but its article gets over 2500 pageviews per month[1]. Pageview analysis shows that in fact fewer than 3.5% of the readers landing on "Gordy" click through to the dab page[2], indicating the current set up works well for the overwhelming majority.
