Talk:Goldilocks and the Three Bares

Untitled edit

Ok, so, to whoever it is that insists on the deletion of this article, I would really appreciate some clarification as to what it is about this entry that validates such an action. The only reason I've seen cited has been regarding the article's/subject's "notability". I cannot seem to find any criteria on Wikipedia which defines what seems certain subject matters more notable than others. I have verified the validity of all content contained in this entry, and, despite that the film may contain subject matter which may be generalized as "adult" in content, I made a deliberate effort to tune the focus and verbage of the entry in a tasteful and inoffensive manner. No subjectivity was incorporated into the synopsis of the film, and I made a specific effort to reflect the subject's redeeming cultural significance, as well as the relevance of this film to the overall canon of Herschell Gordon Lewis. I also performed multiple proofreadings to ensure no clerical or grammatical errors. So, this leaves then the issue of "notability", which yet remains a vague and undetermined concept outlined nowhere in the guidlines or policies I reviewed. Please take a moment to specify what you mean regarding "notability" and how it pertains to this entry, if for no other reason, to assist me in avoiding unneccessary efforts as such in future writings.

the AFD debate found it to be notable. article needs to follow wiki style guidelines though (i.e. try to follow the formatting and writing styles as seen in article The Creeping Terror). also remember to sign your comments. Zzzzz 22:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Goldilocks and the three bares.jpg edit

Image:Goldilocks and the three bares.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
