Release and Reception of the Zombies version... was it really a "highlight of their career?"

I don't have the Zombies' bio to compare to, but when framed as a "highlight to their career" this whole section doesn't make sense to me:

1) apparently they got popular in the Philippines and made some money, and not to dismiss the Philippines, but was that really a big deal for them? They had 3 US #1s which seem like true highlights

2) the song didn't chart in the UK and wasn't even released in the US

3) the last paragraph is all about how the producer changed things in ways that irked the band, which doesn't speak to it being a highlight either

Again, I haven't read the book so I don't feel confident simply editing it, but as someone reading this for the first time I experienced a lot of cognitive dissonance the way the section is framed, and someone skimming might not get it. Jumunius (talk) 15:16, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
