Goedgevonden B → Rentse Village – No reason was given for reverting bold move. Town is minuscule with less than 1,000 people and very little is written about it. But the name was officially changed. No reason to use the old name.

- Oppose. Nominator provides no examples of the current name in use, because as far as I can tell there are none, while there is limited use of "Goedgevonden B" as "Goedgevonden" (there appears to be no other Goedgevonden in the North West province) and as such the requirements of WP:MPN are not met. I would support a move to "Goedgevonden" as the WP:COMMONNAME. BilledMammal (talk) 02:34, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Per WP:COMMONNAME. I support a move to "Goedgevonden", which is the name used in news stories.
The search results that I found from Google News that refer to Goedgevonden (North West province) are:
- Most English-language Google News search results for Goedgevonden are for Goedgevonden mine. (The mine is east of Pretoria in Mpumalanga province, whereas the community named Goedgevonden is southwest of Pretoria in North West province.) There were no relevant search results for Rentse (lots of references to people called Rentse and an NGO called the Rentse Foundation Trust).-- Toddy1 (talk) 15:11, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
