Etymologist or entomologist? edit

The article identifies Howitt as an etymologist, but later refers to his work in entomology. The former is words, the latter is bugs. Which was he? (I'm guessing from the context that he was an entomologist, not an etymologist, but it's possible that he was interested in both the roots of plants and the roots of words.) —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 01:50, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
