• Flood controll lines on Godavari for various cities
• Industries and industrial pollution on Godavari
• Translation from Marathi to English article also is welcome

Myths and facts mixed-up

In the lead secion it is claimed that the river is known as Dakshin Ganga because "it originates from river Ganga (underground water) near Trimbak in Nashik", failing to explain that is a mythical account for the river's origin, that should be presented as such, and/or better explained in the section "Religious significance". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.15.71.187 (talk) 15:37, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
