Strange Transliteration

Some of the transliteration in this article seems off ("Carja" vs "Tsarya"). What transliteration system is this article using?

One or two texts

Stanza 1 is different in metre from Stanzas 2-4. Also stanzas 2-4 are given elsewhere as the text of "Prayer of the Russians". Should these not be stored as two sources rather than one?

Singable Version

Who wrote this? I'm not convinced it's singable (particularly "pow'r"; doesn't fit!) Giamberardino 01:28, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Article move

Why was this article moved on April 3 from "God Save the Tsar!" to "Bozhe, Tsarya Khrani?" This is the English language Wikipedia, not Russian. I contend that this does not comply with Wikipedia policy. As WP:NAME states, "Generally, article naming should prefer what the greatest number of English speakers would most easily recognize...The names of Wikipedia articles should be optimized for readers over editors, and for a general audience over specialists."

Certainly, the vast majority of English readers of Wikipedia would only recognize "God Save the Tsar!" and would Google that title only. "Bozhe, Tsarya Khrani!" is recognizable only to Russian speakers or linguists specializing in Russian language, hardly the general English-speaking public. The best thing to do is to resume titling this article "God Save the Tsar!", with a mention of the Russian title in the Lead. JGHowes ^talk - 13:13, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Borodin's use of 'God Save the Tsar'

I read that Borodin quoted the tune in the 4th movement of his 2nd symphony. I have listened to it 3 times, and I simply cannot recognize it anywhere.
