Portuguese uses a Latin script edit

@Gotitbro: The Portuguese alphabet is derived from Latin as is the English alphabet. How does WP:INDICSCRIPT apply to a language which uses a Latin based script? Rockcodder (talk) 06:09, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

All native/regional langs are covered under the policy including transcriptions, transliterations etc. regardless of script, that basically comes down to no non-English langs in the lead or infobox in India-specific articles. This WP:CONSENSUS was reached through numerous discussions on WP and is a MOS policy, all the major policies and discussions are listed and can be perused under WP:INDICSCRIPTS. WP:IPA pronunciations can be added in some cases to the leads, but here as well a preference for English is shown. Gotitbro (talk) 06:26, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
