@Elinruby who brought it to my attention and @Dreamcatcher25 who is familiar with Polish sources. I will copy what I said on my talk page here: The current referencing is weak and arguably doesn't meet WP:APLRS (newspapers). Polish Wikipedia confirms the claim about the pogrom with a source that seems more reliable (pl:Gniewczyna_Łańcucka#cite_note-14). Pl wiki does not say anything about local Poles rescuing Jews (although The Atlantic links to what appears to be a primary source: [1]). We could discuss reliability of this, and due weight and stuff.
To start with, if the pl wiki reference is reliable, I suggested adding it here. Said reference is Tadeusz Markiel, Alina Skibińska [2]: „Jakie to ma znaczenie, czy zrobili to z chciwości?” Zagłada domu Trynczerów, Stowarzyszenie Centrum Badań nad Zagładą Żydów, Warszawa 2011, ISBN 978-83-932202-6-7. - Markiel and Skibińska's book is with no doubt the most important source about this pogrom. Since it was published by the Polish Center for Holocaust Research I don't think its credibility will be questioned.Dreamcatcher25 (talk) 12:29, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
