No consensus to move. This is where it started and we need consensus to say that the proposed name is better. I don't see that here. If the move war continues, leave a note on my talk page. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:16, 6 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Anarchist terminologyGlossary of anarchism – This article has twice been moved to Glossary of anarchism and has been moved back twice. While it is an page of Anarchist terminology it is also a glossary. Having the name as Glossary of anarchism is a bit more descriptive and also fits in with the naming scheme at Category:Glossaries. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 23:41, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

No, that is neither the intent nor the function of the article, and so would be a misdescription; a foolish consistency, the hobgoblin of little minds. If you don't have constructive material to add to the entry, I would respectfully ask that you leave it be. Skomorokh 15:01, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Requested move No 2

The result of the move request was: moved, since there seems to be no objection. While the move request was still open, the article was moved to Glossary of anarchism terms, but "terms" strikes me as redundant. Aervanath (talk) 18:32, 11 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Anarchist terminologyGlossary of anarchism – per WP:CRITERIA, to suit convention and because it is a glossary. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 00:23, 28 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Term for an anarchaic glossary

edit

Surely a true anarchist would ignore standards and policies, and prefer to have a title that was inaccurate or inconsistent, or perhaps even both (at the cost of that being itself consistent)? Perhaps that is what we are seeing, it could explain a lot. <-;)

I note that on 1 March, within the discussion period of the latest requested move Anarchist terminology → Glossary of anarchism which was raised on 28 February, the article was moved to a third title Glossary of anarchism terms [1]. Now that's anarchy in action. Andrewa (talk) 23:52, 7 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unmerge right-wing terms

edit

It seems rather odd to have right-wing terms such as Non-Agression Principle mixed with left-wing terms like autonomism. The two philosophies are fundamentally different, as many left-wing anarchists have argued. I would argue that there should be a page for right-wing terms and left-wing terms, as this more accurately presents the reality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.169.20.249 (talk) 14:18, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
