Is cartoon reference significant enough to warrant adding to this article?

edit

User Hg3300 added a reference to the album Glass Houses into this article which I removed. He wrote, "The album was referenced in the Fairly Oddparents movie, Channel Chasers. Mrs. Turner is about to give the key to a glass house to Joel, saying "Don't throw any stones," right before Timmy smashes it into a million pieces.[1][2] He cites the transcript of the show and a cartoon of the Joel character, stating that the cartoon looks like Billy Joel.

I think this reference is extremely trivial and doesn't warrant being added to this article. It's cultural importance regarding the album in question is negligible as far as I can tell. But I would like to know if other editors out there disagree with me.Jpcohen (talk) 23:43, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well, it does show how culturally significant this album was. I mean, to be referenced in a cartoon, you must have done something right. Hg3300 (talk) 08:51, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
For the record, I'm not trying to create an edit war. Billy Joel and his album Glass Houses were clearly referenced in the cartoon. Perhaps this should be referenced on the Channel Chasers page instead? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hg3300 (talkcontribs) 09:05, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
It does sound like the kind of "cultural reference" that you mention would probably have more relevance on a page about the cartoon in question than it would to Billy Joel's Glass Houses album.Jpcohen (talk) 17:48, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Since there is no page for acoustic & electric pianos, I changed that to acoustic & electric pianos. I don't see why a user would add a link to a page that doesn't exist.--Kevjgav (talk) 17:45, 10 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

There is no way this is a punk rock album, and one of the cited sources (allmusic) specifically says it isn't. It is a rock/pop album, no more no less. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 05:30, 16 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
