Hi! I will be reviewing this. Adding my comments shortly. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 05:20, 23 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

  • around 900, Add "AD"
  • Citations generally do not occur in the lead. All facts of the lead are mentioned in the main text and the citations occur only there.
    • I would like to avoid any copyright issue: "fictitious person" is a verbatim citation from a publication. Borsoka (talk) 03:56, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • occupied his duchy What does this mean?
  • and Vlachs, or Romanians I am a bit confused by the "and" and the "or"
  • Romania is linked twice
  • at the beginning of the 11th century "in the early 11th century"?

Background edit

  • around 837 Add "AD"
  • The Annals of St. Bertin writes that "states that" may be better
  • Link "basin"
  • Duplink: Byzantine Empire

Banat on the eve of the Hungarian Conquest edit

  • Can spear points inhumation graves be linked or explained?
  • Duplinks: Mureș River, Carpathian Basin, Bulgars, Moravia, Carolingian Empire, Bulgaria, Florin Curta
  • Written sources prove Is "prove" not a bit too strong? Perhaps "imply" or "show"? which also proves that he identified Glad's duchy with the territory that is now known as Banat in the next section is similar.
  • Is Franks linked anywhere? It should be linked
  • Bavarian Geographer Did I miss the writer?
    • Yes, he is linked in the same section. :) Borsoka (talk) 03:56, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Sălăgean and Pop Have they been introduced by their full names?

The conquest of Banat edit

  • Glad and his large army waited them You mean "awaited" them?
    • Text modified (actually, I do not know what is the better version). Borsoka (talk) 03:56, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Glad in modern historiography edit

  • only mentioned in the Gesta Hungarorum "mentioned only in the..." looks better
  • "Vlad Georgescu" is a duplink.
  • anachronism may be linked.
  • Does the image have anything to do with this section? Would look better in "Banat on the eve of the Hungarian Conquest".
    • I think the image should remain here: it is an old map, representing late 19th-century scholarship. Borsoka (talk) 03:56, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your review. I fixed the above problems (I hope). Borsoka (talk) 15:52, 23 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Hi Borsoka Please wait for a few minutes so that I can point out all the issues. I guess I won't be able to come for a day or two, so possibly we could complete this review today itself! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:00, 23 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
