Origin/Speculation

Regarding today's edits, no modern source would call the glacial origin of erratics speculative. Webster's dictionary, The Glossary of Geology, Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, Encyclopedia International, World Book Encyclopedia, and all modern geological texts (e.g., Earth, by Press & Sevier; The Earth, by Tarbuck & Lutgens; and many many more - those are all I had at hand to check) all support the phraseology as "fact." I concur....everything I ever learned when studying geology was that the erratics were moved by glacial action...hence the title of the article "Glacial erratic".--MONGO 05:29, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Erratic

This article is mostly about different kinds of erratics, and glacial erratics are only the most common kind. Should the title be "Erratic (rock)"? Art LaPella (talk) 03:43, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
