Grammar and Style Issues in the Introduction

The first graf of this article could use some grammatical fixes. "Being located on the west bank of the Nile river, some 20 km southwest of central Cairo" is a sentence fragment. "Along with Shubra El-Kheima, Cairo and Helwan, the 4 cities form the Province of Greater Cairo metropolis" leaves out the city of Giza entirely and syntactically implies four additional, unnamed cities that, along with Shubra El-Kheima, Cairo and Helwan, make up the Greater Cairo metropolis. I hesitate to change the paragraph myself because I don't know anything about this geography. Anyone else want to? St.JohnBosco (talk) 22:58, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Conflicting Latitudes Given

The article gives two separate coordinates for Giza's northerly latitude: 30 degrees, 1 minute North and 29 degrees, 59 minutes North. It would be nice to clear this contradiction up. Writtenright 23:50, 27 September 2007 (UTC)Writtenright

Budge writes "the fragments of a body which were found by Colonel Howard Vyse in the pyramid of Mycerinus at Gizeh, are though by some to belong to a much later period.......(page 184) and from the same text "the sarcophagus of Mycerinus (IVth Dynasty) found in his pyramid at Gizeh resembled a small building". Heiroglyphic Identity?

As most ancient cities of Egypt, can be identified according to their indigenous "graphic" combinations, why is there no provision of the ancient graphs, used in the identification of this center? Gizah is not the native name, as indicated. It is relatively common knowledge among historians and linguists of Ancient Egyptian culture, that the various "usurpers" of these peoples, imposed significant constraints over the "reading" of the ancient graphic forms, as indeed did Pharoahs who particularly embodied the characteristic posture of the "Warrior God", who wears the "southern" or White Bulbous Crown, of Upper Egypt, first indicated on the NarMer Palette, as the one who raises his arm in preparedness to strike the "bearded" "victim", who indicates the Earth God Geb. (variants indicating the prototypical identity of the Earth and awareness of the "two running speeds" as indicated in the bottom register of the Narmer Palette, include the name "IMN", and the identity as the "self created and creator", which infers the "warrior god" as the imagined primeval power that informed the "declination of the bodies moving in the heavens" to use Plato words from Timaeus, hence indicates the "creator" of the figure "8" literally retraced as the image of the analemma, which is the apparent figure which informs the actual annular cycle). The graphic elements of the term "SuZe", are indicated by the image of the standing duck, which means "generations" with no specific gender determinative, is commonly used to indicate the name of the Earth, GeB, as the standing duck coupled to the graphic and concrete image of the lower leg, and is also indicative of various transliterations, as S,G,N, the latter indicating a feminine determinative. As the motions and hence activity of the planet, indicate to cultures dominated by the "father" or "conception" rights to generation, infer the reason for the masculine gender of the Earth, deified as a male God, rather than a neutral gender (beard and breasts) as is common with the deity and sibling of ISIS and OSIRIS, known as SET, the name Giza, appears to be derived from the one and same elements which infer the center known as Sais to the Ancient Greeks, and to the Ancient Egyptians as Sait.

This is the only center which is indicated by both the image of the standing duck, and the graph which indicates the "center" of a city itself, being a circle with a "X" marked with four triangulations two of which are indicated as such: (> <). SuZe is considered by Wallis Budge to indicate an ancient "title", graphically indicated by the standing duck and the circle with the center point shown. This combination is translated by Budge, as "son of the sun", whereas, without the masculine gender indicated, it could easily have been translated as "generation" though not of the sun, but of the "cycles" as the graph which indicates the "daily period", is also the graph which comes to be a direct indication of the Sun itself, and the metal Gold, though this is indicative of a later evolution of the complexities of the lingusitic system. Indeed, it could be argued that this and many other of Budge's translations are imposed upon by his ideological and/or nationalisitic constraints, in service first and foremost to a male "crown", and/or paternalist tradition, indeed paternity underpinned by conception rather than birth rights. As the terms which Budge translates as the Title, "son of the sun" rather than "generation of the cycles", the leaning towards the foundational Suzerain Contract which indicates a top down heirarchy of classes and "vassells" granted permission and trusted to rule, with the powers of self governance in the event of the "crown" not being present, is also evident. As such the problem for Budge is the failure to effectively expose what he suggests is the failure of the Dragomans to expose the facts of ancient Heiroglyphics, as this in and of itself, exposes the Persian tradition of Suzerain covenants, and Vassel governance, employed in the West, for the purpose of supporting colonisation, as the union of scientific/cultural/economic expansionism which results.

The standing duck is coupled to the graph of the circle with its center point marked, 3R and R3, being defined as "one of many" () (turned 90 degrees) indicated by the concrete image of a "mouth" without the center point marked, and defined as "one" with the center point marked, which informs the graph of "re" used to indicate both the period of the day marked at noon, and the source of this mark, being the light of the Sun, hence the graph indicates the sun, and the metal gold, by association from the systematic program of "ars combinatorics", which commonly unifies the elements of metals with the significant elements which inform both astronomy and astrology. In overlay the holographic nature of the meaning fields are highly complex, but nevertheless indicate the natural interdependence between the three dominant sciences of astronomy, astrology and minerology, common to highly progressive and highly organised complex civilisations.

It is also apparent that the "letter" Z, as a "mirror" of "S",is related to the use of "3" and "R", which infers that the term SuZe, may equally be transliterated as GeRa, and "GuRu", which is an indication of the graphic means commonly used to indicate the "teachings" signified by the image of the five radial spoked wheel. As this is transliterated as SBA, the use "S" not only indicates the "half image" of the analemma: "S",indicated from the shadow retraced as a significant indication of the higher signature authority of natural science and natural law, it also indicates the "whole cycle" of one year period where the figure "8", corresponds to the figure: "nu", informed by the "line of sight observation" to the circle of the horizon, and both to the dawn and dusk, while it is easier to assess to Dusk location of the apparently "falling" body of the sun, in the West. Of "B" and "A", each indicate the measure of the cubit, as associated to both the lower leg, which is transliterated as "B", and appears like an "L", having the same measure as the "forearm" which is transliterated as "A", and similarly appears as a "L", though rotated 90 degrees, common to all peoples regardless of gender or race, as the foundational ratio of "one unit", which is also associated to the common "radius" of the "twin circles": ( (-) )", scribed from the location of the two temporal extremes of the solstice, as retraced on the ground plane, marked with poles which indicate the two centers |<><>|, at the head and tail of the serpentine lines "s" and "z", which together inform the graphic image "8" which corresponds with the actual shifting loci of the sun, /\/\/\/\/\/\, and the projection of the apparent "helical" or epicyclic image as the Sun's apparent path over the course of a year, if the earth is conceptually abstracted to zero annular motion.

Is Giza, associated with the city of Sais? Is Giza as such, not a city complex, but rather a name given to the monumental structures alone? mcp 05:24, 20 March 2013 (UTC)mcp user name: Morganprotheroe

The Sphinx international airport

I know that the Sphinx international airport has already opened, but I lack knowledge as to how it affects international access, if the section of International access could be updated by someone more knowledgeable
