The Term “Failure” comes of mean-spirited.

edit

I dislike the use of the term failure to describe the initial project from the pair as it comes off as biased and mean-spirited. I’ll work to rephrase this section. Sungexpression (talk) 07:36, 12 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

If something is a failure, it's not “mean-spirited” to describe it as such. If anything, using a euphemism for failure would be biased. (Walker Snarling) (talk) 16:27, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Failure is subjective as you didn’t create the project and don’t know what the intended outcome was. 2601:CA:8100:730:F481:279C:A9B4:B33E (talk) 16:29, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
By that logic, success is also subjective and should thus be removed as well. (Walker Snarling) (talk) 16:30, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think rebranded would be better language
But it’s girl defined I don’t care that much 2601:CA:8100:730:F481:279C:A9B4:B33E (talk) 16:31, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I don't know anything about this group beyond what's on this page, honestly; I just don't think one can remove “failure” while keeping “success” and still claim to have a NPOV
Rebranded is fine; one could also just mention that there was an earlier project, or simply remove mention of it altogether. From what I'm gathering this group is not very noteworthy so I'd imagine some older project that didn't do well is probably even less notable than their current one (Walker Snarling) (talk) 16:36, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I reworded the first sentence. As for “After bairdsisters.com failed to gain traction,” I considered “...was unsuccessful in gaining traction” but that adds 5 syllables for really no good reason (Walker Snarling) (talk) 16:41, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
The source says "landed flat" which by my understanding is a synonym for failure. I also don't see framing it as building sucess out of failure as the source does to be mean spirited, that seems like the classic entrepreneurial story... They tried, failed, tried again, and succeeded. There is no shame in failing on your way to success. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 17:27, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fundamentalist Christian or Christian nationalist?

I know they tend to go hand-in-hand, but the hosts/ministry owners seem closer to the former than to the latter. J E F-T (talk) 14:41, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

In any case, the opinion of one pair of scholars does not mean it can be stated as fact in the lead sentence. StAnselm (talk) 16:53, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
