The EB9 article on Giovanni Animuccia

"Giovanni Animuccia" , Encyclopædia Britannica, 9th ed., Vol. II, New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1878, p. 57.

Professor Peter Schickele, in his satirical "study" of the life of the fictitious P.D.Q. Bach has "found" that P.D.Q. Bach's second phase of life, the soused period, was shaped in part by Padre Martini (and further by his association with Thomas Collins).

Thomas Collins goes to a cocktail with gin. Is this really what is meant here, or some guy whose name really is Thomas Collins? If so, who? JIP | Talk 12:26, 10 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
