Mughals and Lengha - Choli edit

Mughal women did not wear Lengha or Ghagra choli. Lehenga was worn prior to arrival of the Mughals as Mughal women traditionally wore Kartiji and Nimtana popularly known as known as Shalwar kameez now rather than Lengha or Choli. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.92.158.171 (talk) 07:29, 22 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Article needs a serious clean-up edit

At least the second part of the article "Modern Styles of Ghagra choli", "Modern Fashion", "Celebrities in Ghagra Cholis", "Film actresses", "Television actresses" is mere subjective fashion-journal style. As Wikipedia is not a blog nor a instruction manual, I rather would like this section to be completely removed.

Also under Modern Styles or Ghagra Choli/Modern Fashion it is very obvious example for subjective style. No one can decide what's "flattering", also "plump arms" is simply demeaning.

Also, the mass of pictures isn't necessary for understanding the concept of a Ghagra Choli. As it's not even necessary to point out every single detail that may be considered "fashion" somewhere or by someone, it would be enough and much more suitable for an encyclopedia to give an overview about forms and "culture" of modern-day Ghagra Choli wearing, together with about one or two pictures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.92.183.223 (talk) 04:31, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Vandalim issue edit

@Chaheel Riens: Hello. We have had this issue with him before, a mod also confronted him before. Please lease look at his history. It's very problematic. He has fetishsihes/sexualizes womens clothing pages and floods it with unnecessary images of celebrities/women with skimpiest clothes. English is not my first language but i will try to find that mod who noted this as well and put a stop to him for a while but he is now back again. 117.192.209.24 (talk) 09:11, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please point out using diffs where this issue has arisen, and also please point out why the images do not come under WP:CENSOR. I've looked through the page history, and can see nothing to support your claim so far?
Also you should be aware that your blanket reversion has done more harm than good - you've reinserted inaccurate image descriptions into the article despite me stating what they were in my edit summary, which suggests that you're not really interested in improving the encyclopedia, just censoring it. Chaheel Riens (talk) 09:28, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
This issue has been around for years from same user. Above section "Article needs a serious clean-up" also points out exactly why and many of those blog-style opinions on page were added by him. Sorry, I did not look into your image descriptions edit in article, i will take note of that.
These are his recent edits https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/47.8.9.145. He does not care about either history of clothing or it current use. But, edit it with images of celebrities along with commentary on their plunging necklines and backless cholis.
Additionally, many of these fashion-journal type links are not reliable sources. Backless cholis have always existed (See history section for more info) and were not popularized by anyone. He floods page of celebrty images with links to fashion journalism to justify his use of those images on the page. 117.192.209.24 (talk) 10:19, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Please see my response over at Choli as I can't be bothered to type it out again - or even C&P it, which is what you seem to have done here. Not only is there no history section for this page, but the backless choli isn't mentioned in the article at all. Although while I'm here, can you please indent your replies? It's getting tiring having to fix all your little errors. Chaheel Riens (talk) 15:47, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
