Ge Garden Garden
editYeah, we should go with common English names when there is one. With this, it's uncommon enough that there isn't one: just a lot of tourist sites copying our mistake and each other. Google Books clearly shows actual people who know what they're talking about avoiding calling this Ge Garden Garden and opting for Geyuan (where this article should really be moved to since it's more important than the others, which should be shunted to Geyuan (disambiguation), Ge Yuan (from poor or overprecious pinyin), Ge Garden, Geyuan Park (from the full name of the current administration), &c.
Until an admin happens by to move it to Geyuan itself, Ge Garden is the better place to park this.
Edit: Ugh. There was a bad edit history there that needs to be merged here before it can be moved. Ge Yuan is also blocked by a mistaken redirect. Oh, well, I guess there's nothing for it. — LlywelynII 01:23, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
Note to any admins happening by: Apologies for the history mess but this is by far the PRIMARYTOPIC and the other name was (a) a mistake and (b) being copied widely across the webs because of us. Eventually the edit histories of Geyuan Garden, Ge Yuan, and Ge Garden should all three be merged here as similarly poorly handled forking of the full edit history of the page. — LlywelynII 01:33, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
