First time? Well, history hasn't really been your strong point has it? Gevgelija (Yevyeli) and Bitola (Monastiri) had strong Greek populations. I'm not saying they were the majority, but they were far more people than just 2-3 families. This Greek poet was born in Gevgelija [[1]]. Also former Greek minister of sport Giannis Ioannidis' ancestors herald from Gevgelija [[2]].

Names in other languages edit

Why are those removed? ForeignerFromTheEast 03:23, 12 October 2007 (UTC) The place has no "historical greek" population. There was a Greek Orthodox missionary there, but if you visit the cemetery the only Greek people buried there are the priests. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheMac3donian (talkcontribs) 12:17, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
