What "game"? German fries (Bratkartoffeln) and French fries (pommes frites) are different dishes. -- Picapica (talk) 14:40, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Merge with Home fries edit

While I personally dislike the atomization of dishes groups just because in country A or region B a pinch of whatnot needs to be added, I wish to point out that the "German fries" article features a fundamental error in the introduction by wrongly quoting its source. Potatoes are not sliced into "any sizes and shapes", the source states the contrary. I'll correct that with a Henriette Davidis citation in a minute. "Home fries" is a more general, generic term and not a specific dish. Kind regards, Grueslayer 10:05, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
