  • Well-written

a. the prose is clear and concise, it respects copyright laws, and the spelling and grammar are correct

b. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation

The article is well-written, but here is a list of suggestions for improvements.

1. Why write "1940/1" but write the two others as "1942–43" and "1942–45"? I'd suggest changing "1940/1" to "1940-41" so as to match the others.

2. "Sometime in 1941" - If it's unknown when in 1941 I'd suggest simply writing "In 1941".

3. "named after the commander of the torpedo boat SMS V-29 killed during the Battle of Jutland in 1916" - I'd suggest adding "that was" in between "SMS V-29" and "killed".

4. Instead of writing "6/7 January" and "28/29 September" I'd suggest writing "6-7 January" and "28-29 September" and this of course goes for every time "/" is used instead of "-".

  • Pass, fail or hold?
The overall article meets the GA-criteria, but I'm going to put it on hold so the GA-nominator can respond to those suggestions I left. Good job people. Jonas Vinther (speak to me!) 15:48, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Since the GA-nominator is inactive these days I will make the changes myself for the sake of the article. Jonas Vinther (speak to me!) 16:43, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
