Distribution was limited to the Waffen-SS ?? edit

The article would get a higher quality if the authors had a look at its German equivalent. The camouflage equipment was not limited to the Waffen-SS, but the pattern developed for the Waffen-SS was used in paratrooper and tank units, too. Paratroop unit were Luftwaffe units. In addition, another series of camouflage patterns were used in German army units. So, this pattern was not unique.

Thank you for the input. The article already mentions some other units, and illustrates a Luftwaffe pattern; the other patterns were not issued to the Wehrmacht. The article has no visible German translation (which one did you have in mind?), though there are articles at de:Splittertarn, de:Tarnmuster and so on. Those led me to the Sumpfmuster image, thank you, and perhaps more useful items later. Another issue is that the German articles don't provide inline citations, so it's hard to tell if statements where items were sourced, if at all. Dougherty does however provide some further details which I have now included. Chiswick Chap (talk) 18:28, 19 September 2017 (UTC).Reply
Glad I was helpful. I thought of the German wikipedia articles on camouflage clothing [[1]], on Strichtarn [[2]], and on Sumpftarn [[3]]. I recently used Google Translate and DeepL with good results to get an idea of the content. --Ft (talk) 22:00, 3 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
