@BilCat: With the information I'm presently aware of, I believe the Georgia MMPT is less of a defunct project and more of a long-stalled one due to a combination of a lack of funding and Norfolk Southern's wishes to keep ownership of the tracks within the proposed station area. I'm going to spend a few days trying to gather cites that can give more up-to-date information about the terminal itself (such as the company currently redeveloping the Gulch noting that the station is not included in the initial build, but space for it is being provisioned for the future), but this may take me a few days/weeks since I have to fit it into my word schedule.
