Giftedness? edit

I would like to ask how this program is considered to be in the category Giftedness. I read the article and it seems that students are picked based on academic achievements (transcripts, grades) and not innate aptitude. If I am mistaken then that needs to be fixed in the article, if not I'll remove it from the category giftedness. Thank you. Tstrobaugh 18:38, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Entry to the Math program considers PSAT scores. Entry to fine arts programs are based largely on audition/portfolio. --pfunk42 02:52, 3 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Subjects at GHP? edit

"Science" shouldn't be lumped together as one subject. It's divided into completely different majors of biology, physics, and chemistry. If we're calling "science" one major, then we should call "language" one major.

I made the change but it was undone. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.6.158.192 (talk) 11:19, 17 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

It's a nomination area, and the article is correct in referring to it as such. --69.40.1.5 (talk) 21:22, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Relavancy? edit

Is it relevant for the purposes of this article that one of the notable alumni was a "murder victim"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.204.44.71 (talk) 20:40, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
