Merger proposal

• I would be broadly against a merger. I think it could be done well, but the SFS's page needs so much work before throwing a whole page up into it as a section or subsections. I note how SFS-Q has its own dean, its own clubs, and its own admission policies. I think if you merged them you would constantly be saying "And in Qatar... there is a cricket team" or something, as there is little in common other than the parent organization. I worry that because the SFS page lists a fact about the SFS, lets say that it was founded 1919 or that Aznar teaches there, readers might assume that was also true for Qatar.--Patrick Ѻ 20:07, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

• I agree with Patrick. I think SFS Qatar should have a page if its own. The main SFS DC page should refer to it. There are a lot of opportunities in SFS Qatar that will be ignored or wrongly generalized on SFS as a whole if the merger happens.
