1. Reasonably well-written?

  • I don't believe "student-pastor" is hyphenated but am open to correction if wrong. ... double-checked and stand corrected
  • "a" before "American" should be "an"
  • In the second sentence of "pastoral career" the period should be inside the quotation marks since the rest of the article is composed using American grammar.
  • The first sentence of the third paragraph of "pastoral career" places a comma outside the quotation marks, instead of inside.
  • per WP:MOSLQ, Wikipedia uses logical quotations, which means the comma properly goes outside the quotation marks. This is correct as is. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:50, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Assorted other instances of punctuation placed outside quotation marks throughout the article.
  • Again, these are logical quotations, and properly formatted per Wikipedia's Manual of Style. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:51, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • In the paragraph about cattle drives it's self-evident who "these men" are but it should be more specific. Suggest replacing "these men" with "cowboys."
  • paragraph has been revised; phrase is no longer present BlueMoonset (talk) 00:25, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

2. Factually accurate?

  • The lede says he was one of the "most significant," however, the supporting source says he was one of the "best known." I think these two terms are different enough that the source doesn't support the statement.
  • changed to "most famous" (used on page 128 of source) BlueMoonset (talk) 00:25, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

3. Broad in coverage?

  • did a cursory search for stories of salaciousness or corruption and he came-back clean

4. NPOV?
5. Stable?
6. Images?

  • I have to believe there are more PD images of Hewitt than this single headshot. Maybe even the Truett seminary building? Alternatively or concurrently, I've uploaded an audio sample of a sermon here. Please add it somewhere. Feel free to change the caption however you like.
