Political spin term removed

edit

@The Banner, WP:NPOV prevents us from using political spin terms such as "pro-choice" in articles. You can add "pro-abortion rights" if it helps you to clarify who he meant in the quote. Thanks. Elizium23 (talk) 00:51, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I call that censorship. And we have WP:SPADE. When backed up by sources, we should tell the truth. Not twiddle around it out of fear of hurting someone feelings. The Banner talk 08:45, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
It is "pro-abortion" that's calling a spade a spade and the "truth", while "pro-choice" is the obfuscating, euphemistic term...? 2A01:36D:118:C371:8CE9:8C9E:1EF8:E358 (talk) 18:27, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Christin Gilbert

Why is the death of Christin Gilbert not mentioned here? 136.32.195.44 (talk) 21:08, 15 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Was he shot by an anti-abortion terrorist?

edit

This was added all the way back around the time it happened, initially as "anti-abortion activist" then changed depending on the editor's POV. But is it right to say when this is the only notable act of terrorism (or activism) from Roeder and he was just a normal scizophrenic man until then? It's a bit redundant and confusing, like you don't say someone was killed by a murderer, when that's the only murder they committed. 178.164.251.223 (talk) 21:11, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Rachelle Ranae "Shelley" Shannon's release from prison should be noted

edit

The "Violence directed at Tiller" thoroughly accounts her attack but hasn't been updated to note her 2018 release from prison. Her release is noteworthy in the context of a page of an assassinated person. https://www.kansascity.com/news/local/crime/article211653329.html OuterWild (talk) 04:20, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Why? This is an article about George Tiller. The Banner talk 08:53, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
