@Slivicon:, I reverted your category change because it isn't clear if he was English (or Welsh or Scottish or Irish). Therefore, the default shouldn't be English but British. Clearly '20th-century British medical doctors' shouldn't be a container category: I can understand '20th-century British people by occupation' being a container category. The main article has a link to a 20 page memoir by two other Fellows of the Royal Society which makes it clear that his family background was in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Northumberland, so he should be regarded as English. NRPanikker (talk) 23:13, 17 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
