Montague Township and George Montagu edit

Likely not named after the 4th Duke. He wasn't significant enough at the age of 22 when the township was named in 1759. Most likely named for a previous Montagu/Montague ancetor who was prominent in 1759 or before.ColonelHenry (talk) 20:50, 22 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
