Coordinate error
edit{{geodata-check}}
The following coordinate fixes are needed for George Lake aerodrome: The actual coordinates are: 65°55'18.0"N 107°27'37.7"W 65.921664, -107.460462 It was probably just typo in longitude - 102 degrees instead of 107 degrees.
The second: the runway is not ICE, it is gravel one, on the ground. The temporary ice runways are made every year in winter/sping time (Feb-May) on the lake nearby.
I worked there as a land surveyor so I know for sure. 94.245.135.105 (talk) 01:25, 26 September 2015 (UTC) —{{subst:Andrei Douglas}}
- Coordinate correction Done; thanks for pointing out the error. With regard to the gravel runway, I'm not able to find a source for that information at the moment, but I'll leave a message for the creator of the article, who works at an airport in Nunavut and should have access to good sources. - According to the current Canada Flight Supplement (valid until 15 October) there is nothing but an ice runway. I checked the NOTAM and there was nothing listed. They may have laid a gravel strip out but didn't get it registered. CambridgeBayWeather (mobile) (talk) 11:24, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
