– Per WP:ONEOTHER. Analogous to other father / son disambiguation pages, such as Lon Chaney, Douglas Fairbanks, Noah Beery, Ross Bagdasarian or Perry Botkin. In the past, Wikipedia had two-men disambiguation pages, naming the father "Sr." and the son "Jr." However, the fathers rarely if ever used the form "Sr." [in the case at hand, the father is disambiguated as "(cinematographer)", rather than as "Sr."] while the sons were either always or frequently known as "Jr." The aforementioned dab pages have since been deleted and replaced by hatnotes atop the fathers' pages (For his son, see Lon Chaney Jr. or For his son, see Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) As in the case of the other fathers, George Folsey, who received 13 Oscar nominations, was the better known one and anyone searching for the son's entry would already have the hatnote at the father's entry without the need of going through the dab page. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 00:17, 19 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
