Toward a Neutral Point of View edit
I changed a few key phrases to make this article a bit more value-neutral, but it still needs work.
1) "Endicott-Johnson employees were treated better than most other workers": receiving good benefits is not the same thing as getting treated better all around.
According to the Wikipedia article about Endicott Johnson Corporation, "the work was hard and the pay was low". This article's claim that wages were high goes against what I've been told, but I don't have a good source so I've left it for now.
2) "In grateful appreciation, the residents of Lestershire renamed their community Johnson City, New York in 1916, and the employees of Endicott-Johnson built two arches...": My understanding is that this was a myth encouraged by the Johnson company, which covertly organized the renaming and the various monuments themselves to make it look like a spontaneous demonstration of appreciation.
I would need to collect sources to really clarify these issues, but I think this is a significant improvement for now.
