Talk:George Davis Snell

Untitled edit

There is a long review of the book, Search for a rational ethic, by George D. Snell, in the November-December issue of American Scientist, 1990.

Who? Father or son? edit

This is ambiguous:

Snell's father worked as a secretary for the local YMCA. He invented a device for winding induction coils for motorboat engines. In Bar Harbor, he met and married Rhoda Carson. Together they had three sons, Thomas, Roy, and Peter.

Who invented a device, George or his father? Who married Rhoda Carson, George or his father? The "he" in both sentences leaves this ambiguous.
