Westernmost point

According to the German Wikipedia, the westernmost point is near Isenbruch, not Millen: de:Isenbruch. Both belong to Selfkant.--134.130.4.46 15:24, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

The northernmost point is not List (the northernmost town) but the Ellenbogen and the southernmost point isnt't Oberstdorf (which is the southernmost town) but Haldenwanger Eck, which is 17 km. south of Oberstdorf. Ellenbogen Haldenwanger Eck

Geographic middle

BSk climate in Germany?

Where in Germany would be the climate as dry to classify as (cold) semi-arid? According the map it would be either in northeastern Thuringia or far southern Saxony-Anhalt (or both). The driest German town I know of would be Naumburg, but is it dry enough to classify as BSk? MrLW97 (talk) 22:24, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

None of Germany has a semi-arid or subtropical climate. Jim Michael 2 (talk) 14:32, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Based on Beck et. al. there is a small area of BSk in Germany. Nowhere qualifies as subtropical, but some urban areas (say Freiburg) are nearly warm enough to be "humid subtropical" by Köppen standards. Uness232 (talk) 01:50, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
