Manitoba edit
Manitoba is not officially bilingual (only English is an official language at the provincial level) and it is definitely not in the Constitution. Manitoba does have provisions for the use of French in courts and in the legislature and for the printing of laws in both languages. The three Winnipeg neighbourhoods listed are historically francophone neighbourhoods (and continue to be significant areas of francophone population and services) but neighbourhoods do not have an "official language" designation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.246.130.248 (talk) 02:55, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
- @104.246.130.248: Manitoba is constitutionally bilingual for legislature and judiciary, though practically is primarily English speaking (see Reference Re Manitoba Language Rights and Section 23 of the Manitoba Act, the latter being considered a constitutional document).
