Cocaine Allegations ??
editShould be a link included (yours is out of date). Article now at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-152209/Powder-police-van-says-Robinson.html and another at http://www.epolitix.com/latestnews/article-detail/newsarticle/robinson-in-the-clear-on-cocaine-claims/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.75.218.200 (talk) 20:56, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Date of leaving Blair government
editThe main part of the article says December 1998, but for some unknown reason the lede says January 1999. Whilst it is true that Dawn Primarolo succeeded GR as Paymaster General on 4 January, it doesn't follow that GR was in office until 3 January. Many sources, including politics.co.uk and [[1]] say he left office in December along with Peter Mandelson. Unless anyone can point out what I am missing, I will standardize the accounts given in the article in the New Year. Harfarhs (talk) 20:07, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

More detail required on the amount and source of wealth
editCurrently the article just says its due to previously having been a businessman - vague. My local grocery shop proprietor is a businessman, but not wealthy. 92.24.183.171 (talk) 10:45, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- As long as you can provide plausible sources you are very welcome to tell us what you think you know. Your sources do not need to be online, though if the matter will become contentious, it is helpful if they are. Your sources should in any case be publicly accessible - books or respectable journals that can be consulted in a university (or other) library. And you should make it clear that you are reporting the opinion(s) and research(es) of others. "According to .... writing in the Daily Mail on [date] ..." Except that for some reason wikipedia does not seem to regard the Daily Mail as a reliable source. Maybe you should stick with the Financial Times or Who's Who. (Sadly, the sources of wealth for your local grocery shop proprietor are unlikely to be of sufficient interest to merit a wikipedia article. But Geoffrey Robinson has evidently achieved .... stuff. And when he turns up on Radio 4 he generally makes a certain amount of sense IM(H)O.) Success Charles01 (talk) 11:14, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
