Licence plate?

The article states: "Finsberg celebrated this victory by having '474' stamped on his car's number plate."

What does that mean? Surely he didn't literally have a number "stamped" on an existing plate? That would almost certainly have been illegal. Or does it mean that he obtained a "vanity" plate that included the number 474? This ought to be clarified. Or, failing that, the statement should be deleted.

In any case, a better citation might be needed. The existing citation might not conform to WP:NEWSBLOG.
