FYI, an article by this name was deleted twice before: [1]. It certainly seems notable to me. Here are some news links from Google. —Fleminra 20:57, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes. It's the same person doing it, too. I'm convinced that someone has a beef with GeoEye. On the other hand, I believe we need to properly organize this article. Aviation Week & Space Technology's source book that was just sent out has some good info, and I plan to incorporate that info and clean up the formatting. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 21:02, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, it is kind of sad that the bird has a better page than the company! I've added some stuff to the article to make it look more like a wiki page is supposed to, but the Company Infobox REALLY needs some help. I'll fill in some more tonight if I can. --Mdwyer 21:35, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've filled it in and fluffed up the article quite a bit more. I think it would survive a deletion request, now.
It would be nice to attach a sample of their imagery to the article -- especially the one that shows a picture of their Thornton ground station from space -- but I don't want to have to explain to their lawyers that I want one of their pictures for free. --Mdwyer 05:24, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

OrbView 1 edit

Some discussion of Orbview 1 (aka MicroLab 1) would be nice; wikipedia makes it seem like this satellite never existed. 128.138.215.52 (talk) 22:23, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why would they do this? edit

Can someone please explain or provide a citation for the statement "It is a major client of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency." wich is in the introduction. My instinct is that the writer meant to say "National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is a major client.". 132.38.190.22 (talk) 20:30, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

mailing address versus location edit

The mailing address is Herndon, but the actual location of the headquarters is in Dulles Corner, which is entirely outside Herndon (in unincorporated Loudoun and Fairfax counties). TEDickey (talk) 23:37, 11 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I believe that the mailing address is Dulles Corner Blvd, which is within the limits of Herndon. Tmduffy (talk) 00:04, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
