Format

The guests should not be listed in inverted commas, it implies they may not exist. Perhaps they don't. Other than that, it's a good start. Is the forthcoming episode list reliably sourced? I presume they're in the can, but we don't normally cite them until they're broadcast, for copyright and verifiability reasons, and we then use {{cite episode}} --Rodhullandemu 23:24, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Re-using radio ideas

Is it worth noting somewhere in the article that although the makers of the show claim to have had over 10,000 Genius ideas, a large proportion of the ideas shown also appeared in the radio series? 92.9.132.39 (talk) 22:54, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

How would we reliably source this? And, to be honest, it's not a new idea; The League of Gentlemen was originally a radio show, remember, with much in the way of crossover material. Not sure what you're trying to say here; if it's a copyright issue, presumably Gorman or the BBC hold the copyrights and are free to re-use them. If it's just an issue of recycling existing material, I see nothing controversial about that, and no need to mention it. Rodhullandemu 18:59, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

The show is about presenting a set of innovative ideas and letting the audience decide which of these are "genius". The ISP poster above is saying that these innovative ideas are being repeated on the TV show, some of the same ideas having already been used on the radio show. And that this is to be taken in the context of the show having received over 10,000 idea submissions from different people. (The poster is not saying that any aspect of the show format moving from TV to radio is repetition, but rather that the actual content is being repeated.) :-) -Stelio (talk) 20:08, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Maybe I wasn't clear; I see nothing problematical in material being re-used from one format to another; after all, Jim Davidson and Bobby Davro wouldn't have careers otherwise. Rodhullandemu 20:16, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
