Nice thing on the examples ^^

Question though, what's the difference between {{polytonic|...} and ...? Teentje 11:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Any chance anyone who works on Greek could gloss the examples? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.75.2.136 (talk) 15:18, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Locative absolute edit

Shouldn't there be a reference, not only to the Latin Ablative absolute, but also the Sanskrit Locative absolute? TomS TDotO (talk) 14:21, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

What's Greek for 'genitive absolute'? edit

The Latin name is given, but was there a Greek name for this as well? --jftsang 16:31, 25 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Examples edit

The examples are very clear, but I am wondering whether they are they good Greek. Doesn't αἱ γυναῖκες μόναι οἴκοι εἰσίν mean, not "the women are at home alone", but "only the women are at home"? Perhaps examples from genuine Greek authors could be found to be on the safe side. Kanjuzi (talk) 10:43, 15 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
