Internal link edit

Umm, why does the 'Large Spotted Genet' link to the Caped Genet?

This has been fixed. Thank you Mehmet Karatay 17:23, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Classification edit

Is the genet still considered part of Subfamily Viverrinae, or is it now placed in subfamily Genettinae? Goustien (talk) 19:21, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The genera Genetta and Poiana form the subfamily Genettinae, indeed. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 19:49, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed information removal edit

In the section classification in this article, there is a red link that says South African small-spotted genet. This should be removed because the South African small-spotted genet and the common Genet are the same thing. South African small-spotted genet is just another name for the common Genet. So I think that should be removed so that it wouldn't cause confusion Space chinedu (talk) 21:20, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I disagree + recommend you read the ref'ed source. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 21:44, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
